Who we are

Meet Luke and Sue Ann a dynamic husband-and-wife team who are not only passionate about their work but also about embracing life beyond the pest control industry. When they’re not tackling pest-related challenges, you’ll find them enjoying quality time with their two children, embarking on camping adventures, hiking, and exploring the beauty through scenic Australian landscapes. Weekends often see them at home, surrounded by a menagerie of pets that include Great Danes, cats, fish, chickens, and even some unusual companions like pet scorpions, termites, and reptiles. Their gratitude for their cherished customers is boundless, as they recognize that the continued success of Checkmate Pest Control is a testament to the exceptional support they receive every day. Without their wonderful customers, Luke and Sue Ann wouldn’t be where they are today.
